There's Nothing Like a Wedding...

I just got back from my nephew's wedding. And there's nothing like a wedding to revive the ol' romantic heart. :) Of course, I usually turn into a blubbering fool during the service. And this was no exception. Especially when my nephew got choked up. It was so sweet!

I know they're going to be so happy together. They started dating about five years ago, and I think they knew pretty quickly that they would marry. They made their plans and worked for their goals, and now they're starting their life together.
I wish them a lifetime of love and happiness!

Some of the groomsmen (left to right): Jess Posey (brother of the groom), Demp Posey (father of the groom), Buster Posey (groom) and Jack Posey (brother of the groom). And I have to say they all clean up pretty well! :)

The gorgeous bride, Mrs. Kristen Posey!

AWWWWW, I'm the same way Missy. I get all choked up at a wedding. Your nephew is a very handsome young man and his bride is indeed beautiful. Her dress is just gorgeous!

Wasn't the dress gorgeous! With all those crystals, it sparkled like crazy. I'm such a sucker for sparkly things. :)

My daughther and I love to watch the show, Say Yes to the Dress. And Kristen's dress compares with some of the amazing ones we see on that show! :)

Missy,
I want to express my congratulations to a wonderful couple. Kristen does look beautiful and all of the Poseys look pretty good themselves. You are lucky to have this awesome young couple in your lives. I have been able to share some time with them and their families and they are all great people. We are very proud of them and want to wish them great success and love.

Maureen, thank you for stopping by and commenting! And thanks for making Buster feel so welcome there. We've been really excited to watch him play (wish we could be there in person, though). We've been watching the games through MLB.tv and have had a blast. I'm really looking forward to going to see him play when y'all come play the Braves! :)

I love Buster! I'm so happy for him. The World Series win is just amazing. I had no idea he was married! He's so young! Isn't he 23 years old? It's mind blowing to me. How about Kristen? She does not look anywhere near Buster's age.

Thanks for stopping by, Amber. Yes, he's pretty young, just starting out. The sportscasters kept talking about his baby face. :)

Dear Missy,

Luckily I came across your blog!
I'm doing a school report on Buster, and I do have one quick question for my report if you don't mind answering them.

Did Buster play baseball(on a team) in Elementary School/Junior High? And, If you don't mind, please tell me the name of the Elementary School/ Junior High School that he attended.

Thank you, and I greatly appreciate your consideration.

Marisa,

I don't feel comfortable giving out personal information about him like school names. I'm sorry. But I imagine if you look at the team website they'll have a bio of some sort.

I will say that yes, he did play! His Dixie Youth team even went to the Dixie Youth world series one year. :)

Okay, thank you so much for your help. I really appreciate it. :)

Saw Buster play in Reno last year when he was with AAA Fresno Grizzlies. What an amazing young man. I have been a Giants fan for 50 years, and he has brought the team to a new level. The pictures of him and Kristin are incredible. Best wishes to the family.
Thank you for sharing,
